On the 9th & 10th of October, 2015, the Staff and the Students of St. Joseph’s Convent High School, Bandra, played host to the students from Mahad & Manor. On the afternoon of the 9th, the visiting students were welcomed with some tasty, hot lunch followed by an interactive session that involved the use of computers and of the EduComp system.
After tea, the students were taken to Mount Mary’s Basilica and the ever-popular Bandstand.
The next morning saw the children having a gala time as telegames were conducted on the KG ground. After an hour of fun-filled competition, the children were taught some skills in Painting following which they displayed their creative skills as Teachers conducted Craft Workshops. Students made pretty paper lanterns, torans & painted diyas.
The girls from Mahad & Manor then showcased their dancing skills while foot-tapping music was provided.
Post lunch, the teachers accompanied the children on a trip to the Gateway of India and the Nehru Science Centre.
