Every year schools in Bandra have the flag hoisting in their own schools on 26th  January. To rekindle the spirit of India and to celebrate Republic Day, this is the first time the secondary schools of Bandra are coming together on 26th January 2014 for the Republic Day parade and the flag hoisting at Bandstand. St. Joseph’s is one of the three schools selected for the march past practices.These are the photos of the training sessions conducted by the the Rapid Action Force and the Army Band at our premises.

Do join us on Sunday, 26th January 2014 to witness for the first time the most grandiose Republic day celebrations at Bandra.

7 am : The March-past of 800  children of 20 bandra Schools at B.J. Road from Virendra Colony to the Bandra Bandstand Central Garden accompanied by the Rapid Action Force and the Army band.
7.50 am.: Flag Hoisting at Central Garden by the Chief Guest
Maj. General R. Nimbhorkar, Chief  of Staff for Maharashtra, Gujarat & Goa
8:00 am : Cultural programme by school children
8.30 am : Children’s march-past will resume along with the band and will continue up to Taj Landsend.
